'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' topped the UK charts on 6th June 1987, staying there for 2 weeks, and became a worldwide hit for a fresh faced Whitney Houston who was riding on the wave of success from her first album. A proper 80s gem, the video clip is a fabulous display of colourful body-con dresses and big hair, a nod to the fashions of the 80s if ever there was one:
