Tell Me About It Stud

Possibly the most watched and imitated movie for most 80s little girls, Grease is a gloriously dizzying mix of music, fashion and teenage sexuality. Our number 1 song this week is 'You're the One That I Want', which nabbed the top spot for Olivia Newton John and John Travolta for 9 weeks from 17th June 1978, and is a wonderful opportunity for a bit of nostalgia...

Grease, set in the 50s, shows such a wonderful collection of individual styles. From Sandy's sweet and innocent turned Vamp, to the Pink Ladies who all have a quirky style of their own; pencil skirts, cropped capri pants, full skirts, polka dots, leather trousers and prom dresses, all continue to feature in our wardrobes and put smiles on our faces...

There are any number of garments in our collection that could be passed up as Grease style, these are a couple of our faves below:

Not forgetting that staple item, the neck scarf... Rock Candy Vintage Scarves

Although not our featured song this week, it would be criminal not to have a moment of Frenchy time (with totally trend setting pink hair!) with one of the most memorable movie moments... Enjoy
